Awareness Raising Sessions on COVID-19

From May 2020 ISDE arranged awareness raising session for the Rohingya refugees at the Camp 13 and 19 Ukhiya Cox’s Bazar and distribute IEC materials to the participants. It also includes the parents of ISDE run Child Friendly Space (CFS) at the camps and also arranged sessions for the learners. The session was 30 minutes to 01 hours and participants get interactive message from the session and have question answer scope. ISDE also arranged awareness session for the parents of the learners of ISDE running Pre-schools at Chittagong metropolitan city. Basically mothers of the learners joined the learning sessions.

ISDE collected IEC materials from IEDCR, ISCG, WHO and Government health Department and developed and print leaflets and distributed to community people and slums. It also distributed IEC materials i.e leaflets, pamlets, posters, and festoon at the camp and as well as host communities in Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar. It distributed 50000 leaflets, 1000 festoon.

It produced of different BCC materials (print copy, soft copy, accessible e-book for person with visual and print disabilities) as per WHO and IEDCR guidelines and distribution as well. ISDE also share the materials at the social media for awareness raising.

ISDE conducted Awareness Raising Sessions, courtyard meeting, one to one contact, distribution of information and communication materials (leaflets, posters, fastoon etc) on COVID-19 Prevention for most vulnerable Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh with the support of World Jewish Relief UK.
