Distribution of winter clothes among underprivileged and street children under the initiative of ISDE in Chittagong

Keeping in front of the slogan “Man for the man kind – life is for life”, the non-governmental development organization ISDE Bangladesh has distributed winter clothes (hoodies, trousers, head caps, socks, Vaseline) among 400 underprivileged and street children of Wallace Jhawtola Colony, No. 13 Pahartali Ward and 07 No west Sholo Shahor Ward of Chittagong City Corporation area. ISDE Bangladesh Executive Director and Vice President of CAB Central Committee S M Nazer Hossain were presided over the distribution ceremony. ISDE with the financial support from Muslim Aid United Kingdom and the United States of America in the distribution ceremony of winter clothes with the financial support. The Chittagong City Corporation Councilor Wasim Uddin Chowdhury was the chief guest, Wireless Colony Samaj Kalyan Parishad President Suroj Hossain Sarkar, Joint Secretary of District Social Entrepreneurship Council Mohammad Jane Alam, CAB Chittagong City Joint Secretary Mohammad Salim Jahangir, human rights activist Osman Jahangir was the special guest. Amongst others ISDE Bangladesh Program Coordinator Md Jahangir Alam, Program Officer Ariful Islam, ISDE Child Education teacher and instructor Nagma Akhtar, Rawson Akhtar, Panna Begum others also present the distribution.

Chittagong Chittagong City Corporation Councilor Wasim Uddin Chowdhury in the speech of the chief guest said that street children and poor children are suffering from various cold-related diseases because they are unable to buy winter clothes, many are forced to live a miserable life. And for this reason, humanitarian organizations such as ISDE Bangladesh and Muslim Aid have come forward to solve the problem to distribute the winter clothes for homeless and street children. Although the slogan of people for people is popular, the number of rich people who lend a helping hand to the welfare of the neglected people of the society is less. Although during the any elections, many people became social sympathizers and social sympathizers for the poor people. Bangladesh will definitely be poverty free by 2041 if everyone comes forward to help the backward people in the society.

In the president’s speech, ISDE Bangladesh Executive Director and CAB Central Committee Vice President SM Nazer Hossain said that the number of peoples are decreasing continuously when many wealthy and humanitarian organizations come forward to help the poor and needy people. Many children are dying prematurely due to lack of winter clothing. And because of this, the people suffering in the winter of Bangladesh will suffer from the cold, the international humanitarian organization of the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom, Muslim Aid, has come forward. With their help, an initiative has been taken to distribute winter clothes among 400 underprivileged and street children in the Chittagong City Corporation area. He hopes that local rich peoples and humanitarian organizations will come forward to help the poor and helpless people.

It should be noted that the non-governmental social development organization ISDE Bangladesh has taken the initiative to make hoodies, trousers, head caps, socks, Vaseline as winter clothes for 400 street children of Chittagong City Corporation area with the help of Muslim Aid, an international humanitarian organization of the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom.
