WJR team Visit Safe Shelters in Rohingya Camps

Since Rohingya Influx August 2017 in Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh ISDE Bangladesh has been in many humanitarian intervention at the Rohingya camps. 25th April 2022 Ms. Laura Hendy and Mr. Spencer Leland from WJR UK has visited ISDE Bangladesh implemented and WJR supported Safe Shelter for Rohingya refugees (FDMN) at camp 14 #Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

ISDE distributed safe shelters at camp 14 with the support from WJR UK. The team talks with beneficiaries, their family members, camp in charge and other stakeholders. They highly appreciated the ISDE’s efforts to stand with the stateless Forcibly Displaced Myanmar National (FDMN) Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar. During the visit ISDE Executive Director S M Nazer Hossain explained the details interventions under the project. Amongst others Programme Coordinator Md Jahangir Alam, Programme Manager Md Jashim Uddin Siddique, Rohingya Response Unit Manager Asif Nor Hasnath also present the during visit.

ISDE Bangladesh a local Non Government Organization serving many humanitarian services at Rohingya Refugee Camps as well as host communities in Cox’s Bazar has been distributed 20 Shelter Support. Shelter Support for Rohingya Refugee Families at Camp-14, Thaingkhali, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh by ISDE Bangladesh with the support from WJR UK. Under the COVID-19 Response ISDE Provided 20 Shelter support to 20 Rohingya families in Cox’s Bazar.
